About Our Client

This organisation operates in the energy and natural resources sector and is based in Richmond. They are a growing firm in the industry with significant investment happening across the Eastern seaboard of Australia. This role will partner strongly with senior stakeholders and be a key point of contact across multiple projects. It will off the flexibility of 4-days in office and 1-day work from home.

Job Description
Manage project accounting and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support project decision-making.
Monitor project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance.
Prepare and review project cost reports and variance analyses.
Ensure timely and accurate revenue recognition for projects.




Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to address financial queries.
Assist with internal and external audits related to project finances.
Support continuous improvement initiatives for project accounting processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Project Accountant will be able to demonstrate:
A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
Qualified accounting qualifications such as CA or CPA.
Robust knowledge of project accounting principles and practices.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid communication and collaboration abilities.
