About the role

Bakers Delight Cockburn Gateways Is seeking an experienced Baker to Join our team. Must be able to train apprentices and work in a team setting.

Must be able to demonstrate the following:
Prepare, mix and knead dough using traditional and contemporary baking techniques to produce high-quality bread, pastries and baked goods
Operate and maintain bakery equipment including ovens, mixers, dividers and other specialist machinery
Follow established recipes and baking procedures to ensure consistency and quality in all products
Monitor baking times and temperatures to achieve the desired colour, texture and flavour profiles
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety in accordance with health and safety regulations
Assist in inventory management and stock rotation,



ensuring fresh ingredients are always available
Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily production targets and deadlines
Support the development and testing of new products and recipes
For apprentices: develop foundational baking knowledge and practical skills under the guidance of experienced bakers
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working setting at all times
