About With Me With You

With Me With You is a specialist general practice dedicated to supporting veterans and first responders, including police, firefighters, paramedics, and correctional officers. Founded by Dr Alexis Badger, a specialist general practitioner and former Australian Army Medical Officer, the practice is grounded in extensive operational experience. Our team provides thoughtful, person-centred care that addresses the complex physical and mental health needs of those who serve, delivered through face-to-face consultations, telehealth consultations, and outreach clinics.

We focus on accessible, integrated care tailored to the unique demands of service-related roles. As a sub-specialised general practice, we do not provide general GP services.

About the Role

We're looking for a Specialist General Practitioner to deliver comprehensive care to veterans and first responders across our four pillars of care: occupational injuries, mental health, lifestyle medicine, and service transition support. Day to day, you'll conduct consultations, develop treatment plans,



coordinate care with allied health and specialist providers, and maintain accurate clinical documentation. This is a part time hybrid role (1 to 2 days per week, with scope to increase over time) based in Canberra, combining in-person clinic work with telehealth sessions from home.

This can be a fully remote role for the right applicant if located outside of Canberra.

About You
Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) or the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), with current unlimited AHPRA registration and specialist registration.
Experience in veteran and/or first responder healthcare highly desirable.
Experience with mental health care essential.
Experience with occupational injuries and lifestyle medicine highly desirable.
Robust communication, cultural sensitivity, and trauma-informed care skills, with a genuine commitment to person-centred practice.
High level of comfort with digital health technologies and telehealth platforms, and willingness to work in a hybrid Canberra-based model or a remote arrangement for the right applicant.
