Your new company

Our client is a well-established civil construction contractor delivering major earthworks, infrastructure, and subdivision projects across Victoria. Due to continued growth and a solid pipeline of work, they are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join their team.

Your new role

As an Excavator Operator, you will play a key role in the delivery of civil construction projects, operating machinery safely and efficiently while working alongside experienced site teams.

Key Responsibilities
Operate excavators ranging from 5T to 50T safely and efficiently
Bulk and detailed excavation works
Trenching for drainage, sewer, water, and electrical services
Daily pre-starts and routine machine maintenance checks
Adhere to site safety requirements and company procedures
Work collaboratively with supervisors, spotters, and ground crews





What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience operating excavators on civil, infrastructure, quarry or earthworks projects
Relevant plant operating tickets
White Card
Strong understanding of site safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Final trim experience highly regarded
GPS experience (Topcon, Trimble, Leica) highly regarded
