As Varsity continues to grow, we're looking for an experienced Learning & Development Manager to help build the next generation of leaders, elevate operational capability and bring our people strategy to life.
Please note: The successful candidate will be required to spend approximately 6-8 weeks training in WA to immerse themselves in the Varsity brand, culture and operations prior to commencing the role in Victoria.About The RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to build and shape Training & Development within a fast-growing hospitality and entertainment business.
Working closely with Operations and People & Culture, you'll lead the delivery of onboarding programs, leadership development initiatives, venue training systems and operational capability programs across the business.
You'll play a key role in creating engaging learning experiences that support performance, consistency and culture while partnering with venue leaders to develop future talent pipelines.
This role requires someone equally comfortable building strategy and rolling up their sleeves in venue alongside operational teams.What Will You Do?




Lead and evolve Varsity's Learning & Development function across multiple venuesDesign and deliver onboarding programs for team members and leadersDevelop engaging training content and operational learning resourcesFacilitate leadership development and Train the Trainer programsSupport venue openings through structured training and operational readinessCoach and develop venue leaders to build capability and performanceDrive training compliance and consistency across all venuesPartner with Operations leaders to identify development opportunities and succession pathwaysManage and improve learning systems, reporting and training processesSupport people development initiatives that strengthen culture, engagement and retentionDeliver workshops, leadership sessions and operational training programsTravel between venues to support teams and embed learning outcomesWhat Will You Bring?
