dietary requirements and quality food service.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Chef looking to step into a leadership role where you can make a real difference every day.Based at Riverside Gardens, this is a permanent site-based position with no travel between locations required.As Chef Supervisor, You WillSupervise and support the day-to-day operations of the kitchenLead, mentor and support kitchen staff to deliver high-quality food servicePrepare and oversee nutritious meals that meet the individual needs and preferences of our residentsEnsure food is prepared and served in accordance with food safety, hygiene and WHS requirementsSupport menu planning and ensure meals are prepared according to established menus and dietary requirementsManage food preparation, cooking and presentation to a high standardAssist with stock control, ordering and kitchen organisationMonitor food quality, portion sizes and presentationWork collaboratively with care staff to ensure residents' dietary and nutritional needs are metMaintain accurate kitchen records and documentationPromote a positive, respectful and team-oriented kitchen environmentIdentify opportunities to improve kitchen processes and the resident dining experienceAbout YouYou'll be a confident and experienced Chef who enjoys leading a team and takes pride in delivering quality food and service.You Will BringTrade qualification as a ChefProven experience in a Chef Supervisor, Head Chef or similar leadership rolePrevious experience in aged care is highly regardedStrong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, allergen management and WHS requirementsExcellent organisational and time management skillsStrong communication and leadership abilitiesThe ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary teamA genuine passion for food and creating positive dining experiencesA commitment to supporting the dignity, choice and wellbeing of older Australians
