As a Technology Controls Manager, reporting to the Director Controls and Testing and Compliance, you will lead defined controls testing with a focus on Technology controls.The role will ensure that compliance and operational risks are effectively identified, assessed managed, while supporting The Star Sydney in meeting its regulatory requirements.This is a fantastic opportunity where you can put your skills and knowledge to the test to deliver a thrilling new era for our Risk and Compliance team on a 12-month contract.A few of your responsibilities:Lead walkthroughs to identify, document, and assess technology, cyber, and data risk, including obligations and controlsExecute technology control testing to evaluate design, effectiveness, residual risk, and compliance with frameworks and regulatory requirementsDrive improvements to obligations and controls to strengthen the risk management environmentEscalate key technology, cyber, and data risk issues to relevant governance forumsWhat we are looking for:Strong understanding of technology operational risk and controls in large, complex, regulated environmentsMinimum 6 years' experience in technology risk managementKnowledge of audit and assessment standards (e.g. CISA, CRISC)Familiarity with cyber security frameworks (e.g. NIST, Essential 8, ISO *****, PCI DSS)Solid governance and stakeholder management skillsStrong problem-solving capabilityAble to work independently and collaboratively within a teamAbout you:You are an experienced technology risk professional with a strong understanding of operational risk and controls in large, complex, and highly regulated environments.You are confident navigating governance structures and building strong relationships with stakeholders,
