That means the canonical data model (entities, relationships, schemas, semantics), the contracts between systems, and the standards for lineage, quality and freshness.
One trusted definition per concept, enforced across the business.On the systems side, you'll own the landscape itself: which system is master for which data, how everything connects, and the integration patterns, event standards and identity design that hold it together.
You'll make the build versus buy calls, lead technical evaluation of vendors, and surface the trade-offs for sign-off.
You'll also design the access layer that lets AI agents work with the estate, including MCP servers and tool contracts,



and direct the developers building against your architecture.Key technical skills10+ years in software or systems engineering, with real experience designing production systems end to endStrong dimensional modelling and warehouse design experience, ideally in RedshiftA track record of defining data contracts, lineage and quality standards that held up in productionExperience designing integration architecture and event or API standards across transactional systemsStrong AWS experience and working knowledge of TerraformHands-on with ETL and data pipelines, PostgreSQL, and at least one production application framework (Ruby on Rails a plus)Experience with Salesforce or a comparable CRM inside an integrated system estateWorking knowledge of how AI agents access data: MCP servers, tool contracts, agent access layersFinancial services or another regulated, risk-sensitive background is a bonus, as is DDD and data governance experienceLocation and packageMelbourne CBD.
