An Australian household brand in the tourism sector is looking to take on a Network Engineer for an initial 6 month fixed-term period.
The company has been in operation for over 100 years in Australia and they are continuing to expand.They are looking for a mid-level Network / Infrastructure Engineer to join an existing team to help with Network & Infrastructure operations.
This will initially be a 6 month position but has valuable potential for extension or to be made permanent.The position will be 2 days a week in the office in Coolangatta and 3 days from home.What you will be doing:Provide excellent BAU operations to the company's vast NetworkConfigure, maintain & deploy various Network devices such as Fortigate FirewallsPerform Windows Server administration,



hardening & patchingTake ownership of escalated support from the service deskCollaborate closely with other Network & Infrastructure Engineers to ensure high availability of the company's IT NetworksWhat you need to succeed:5+ years experience in Network & Infrastructure EngineeringExcellent troubleshooting and operational support experienceProven hands-on experience supporting, deploying and upgrading Network DevicesStrong core routing & switching experienceNetwork Security experience with Fortigate firewalls ( or similar )Demonstrated experience managing and patching Windows Servers
