About the RoleWe are seeking amotivated and experienced Financial Accountant for a 12-monthfixed-term contract to join our Finance team at our office in EightMile Plains, Brisbane.
Reporting to our Senior Financial Accountant,this is a pivotal role in managing our financial manufacturing systems andprocesses,



with key responsibilities including:Prepare weekly Profit &Loss; statements and balance sheet reconciliations.Conduct monthly review oftax sensitive accounts and assist Tax Accountant with compiling workpapersfor annual FBT and income tax returns for the assigned siteSupport the annual externalaudit by preparing requested audit documentationBalancing weekly inventoryand meat reconciliationsReviewing and analysingfinancial performance against targets and budgetAbout YouYou must have thefollowing experience/skills:Advanced MS Excel skillsProven ability to analysefinancial and operational data.Robust communication skills,with the ability to collaborate effectively with financial andnon-financial stakeholders.A highly organised,analytical approach to problem-solving and systems review.Newly or partly completed CAor CPA ProgramPrevious exposure toagribusiness or a related industry.JD Edwards experience.What's in it for YouInjury/Illnesssalary continuance schemeAccessto a range of corporate discounts including Bupa healthcare membership.
