Foremost, you will be aware of your design process and how this impacts not only the product lifecycle, but also how the product will affect the environment and community.
You will possess the enthusiasm and knowledge to contribute to the design of unique and impressive products.
Specifically, the role will include:Ensuring products are holistically considered and linked to the company's mission and ethicsDetail design of electronics assembly, including schematic capture and solid PCB designFast turnaround electronics prototype construction, produced internally and with suppliersCommunicating with manufacturers on components selection,



assembly development and production quality expectationsContributing to the company's successful product complianceCollaborating with the mechanical/industrial design teamMaintaining technical documentation and assisting with reports to stakeholdersAssisting in the creation of product performance test procedures to ensure the quality and safety of product satisfies regulatory standards and brand expectationsSupporting the development and delivery of the strategic product roadmap in an efficient and timely mannerYour Skills and ExperienceYou will have a degree in Electronics, Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering with electromechanical experience in both a product design and manufacturing environment, plus:Circa 5 years of engineering experience – preferably in the consumer product or medical industryRapid prototyping skills, Arduino and MCU programming skills are a plusProven experience collaborating with cross functional teams as well as coordinating with international manufacturing partnersFamiliarity with both regional and international electrical and safety compliance standardsHigh proficiency in PCP design software - AltiumA proactive problem-solver, with ability to balance strong analytical skills with an appreciation of the creative vision, informed by the business philosophyAdvanced communication skills, both written and verbal, to all levels of the businessA team player; you understand team dynamics and thrive working within small multidisciplinary groupsAn openminded, creative thinker with the ability to inspire and compliment the teamStrong culture of wellbeing and health and wellness community engagementInternational travelTraining opportunitiesN.B.
