Wenco International Mining Systems (), a subsidiary of Hitachi Construction Machinery (HCM), provides industry leading, innovative technologies to customers in the mining and material movement sectors, enabling sustainable and safe operations.Reporting to the IT Director, the Systems Administrator role is responsible for the secure operation, maintenance, and administration of end-user systems and cloud services.
They will operate in a cloud-first, security-focussed environments aligned with ISO ***** controls and ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability (CIA) with full audit traceability.Key Deliverables and Responsibilities:Provide Tier 1-2 support and manage ITSM tickets with SLA adherenceMaintain audit-ready documentation and contribute to knowledge baseAdminister Microsoft Entra ID (MFA, Conditional Access, SSO)Manage onboarding/offboarding and perform access reviewsSupport privileged access management and RBAC enforcementMonitor and remediate non-compliant devicesSupport Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)Support security operations (Defender alerts, incident triage)Administer backups and perform restore testingExecute change management procedures with approvalsMaintain asset lifecycle and inventory trackingDevelop PowerShell automation scriptsProduce audit evidence and support compliance activitiesExperience and KnowledgeBachelor of Information Technology or relevant work experience2+ years Helpdesk / SysAdmin experienceMicrosoft 365 and Entra ID administrationWindows and Active Directory fundamentalsBasic networking knowledgeBackup solutions (Veeam or equivalent)Basic PowerShell scriptingSecurity and ComplianceUnderstanding of MFA, Conditional Access, least privilegePatch and vulnerability managementSecurity monitoring and incident response basicsISO ***** awareness preferredSkills and AbilitiesAbility to work independently & in a team environment with strong interpersonal skillsAbility to learn, understand, and apply new technologiesStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly self-motivated and able to follow instructionStrong technical, analytical and problem-solving skillsWenco advances the efficiency and safety of the world's surface mining equipment through our fleet management systems.
