Brisbane based role with Diverse Range of ProjectsNational Commercial Support TeamMulti-state presence, market leading contractorBrisbane based role with Diverse Range of ProjectsNational Commercial Support TeamMulti-state presence, market leading contractorWorking with our growing Queensland division you will be working within our collaborative commercial team, supporting the success of numerous projects.THE ROLEConduct comprehensive commercial reviews of Head contracts and AgreementsNegotiate contract departures for Head Contract and Subcontract agreementsManage and ensure compliance with client contract throughout the project/sOversee project start up, procurement, delivery and project close outLiaise with internal Duratec team and external stakeholdersDraft and issue contractual notices promptly and maintain recordPrepare and submit monthly progress claims to the clientMonitor commissioning activities including documentationCollaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligationsPrepare scopes of work and packages for subcontractors and prepare subcontract/ supply agreementsManage subcontractors from onboarding to final accountPrepare month-end cost reports, update forecasts, and participate in cost reviews and meetingsMaintain relevant registers that track and substantiate the projects commercial positionContribute to the project commercial strategy and drive commercial outcomesProvide timely commercial and contractual advice to the project team as neededAbout YouTo be successful in this role you will bring previous experience in a varied contract administration role along with:Sound working knowledge of contract administration and cost control skillsTertiary qualifications in Quantity Surveying, Contracts Management, Commercial Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline are preferred but not mandatory.Previous experience in contract administration within a contractor environment, ideally across remediation, refurbishment, recent build, wharf repair and maintenance, or defence projects, is highly desirable but not essential.Demonstrate ability to manage multiple small projects concurrently while collaborating effectively with diverse project teamsAn understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with all project contract agreements and able to negotiate terms and conditions with stakeholdersAnalytical skills and high attention to detailPositive negotiation, conflict and influencing skillsWritten and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiencesProficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skillsThe BenefitsOngoing rewards & recognition programsPaid parental leaveSalary sacrifice optionsNovated lease optionsAccess to everyday discounts from Australia's leading retailers with FlareEmployee Assistance ProgramFirst Aid and Mental First Aid Support Officers availableOngoing rewards & recognition programsPlease submit your resume today and one of our friendly recruiters will be in touch with next steps.
