09th September, ****We are currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Operators to join a short-term project at West Angelas, working within the MEM Workshop precinct on a range of civil and earthworks activities.
This is a great opportunity for operators with strong civil experience who are confident jumping across multiple pieces of mobile plant and working to a high standard on a Rio Tinto site.

The scope includes construction of new windrows, drainage, trenching, grading and levelling.Plant & Equipment Operators are required to operate a range of equipment, including:140M GPS Grader – Topcon or LeicaHitachi ZQ***** Loader36T Excavator with tilt bucketPadfoot RollersSmooth Drum RollersWatercartsTippersProject DetailsSite: West Angelas – MEM WorkshopPay Rates: Up to $67 per hourCommencement: Project starting mid OctoberDuration: 2 months at this stageRoster: 2/1Paid Hours: 11.5 hours per dayPay Run: WeeklyWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience operating mobile plant in civil, mining or earthworks environmentsRelevant RIIMPO machine ticketsAbility to confidently operate multiple types of plantStrong understanding of earthworks, levels, trimming and windrow constructionCommitment to safe work practices and site proceduresRio Tinto experience/inductions highly regardedAbility to work effectively within a team and independentlyDue to flights and mobilisation from Perth, we are only able to consider applicants from Perth or close surrounds.
