If you'd like to help us build the place to find and buy anything online, this is your chance to make history.The Non-Inventory Receiver (L3) leads the day-to-day operations of the NIR team, coordinating L1 associates to ensure the efficient flow of non-inventory goods across the fulfilment centre.
Reporting to the Site Procurement Manager (SPM), this role combines hands-on operational execution with team leadership, vendor coordination, and continuous improvement.Key job responsibilitiesTeam Leadership & CoordinationLead and coordinate L1 Non-Inventory Receivers in daily task execution and prioritisationTrain and onboard new NIR associatesDirect and support L1 associates in best practice executionAttend GEMBA walks and Daily Deep Dives in proxy of the SPMEnsure continuity of NIR operations by arranging L1 backfill through Operations or Agency partnersOperational ExecutionEnsure accuracy of non-inventory goods receiving and put-away performed by L1 associatesReceive goods into Coupa system (data entry) and maintain accurate recordsOversee shipping supplies cycle counts for accuracyCoordinate and schedule delivery times to align with site dock appointmentsEnsure yard staging area collections are booked and occurring, and maintain yard fullness below required thresholdsMaintain housekeeping and safety standards (5S) across all non-inventory areasProcurement & Vendor SupportMonitor stock levels and flag any stock concerns proactively; chase the GPCS team, other sites,
or vendors directly to mitigate potential stock-outsRespond to ad-hoc requests from site stakeholders for supplies, equipment, or servicesEscalate site-based issues to Vendor Managers for resolutionAudit soft services and support soft services vendor managementResearch missing non-inventory shipments and assist with payment inquiries from Accounts PayableBasic QualificationsCan lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reachExperience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a skilled environmentExperience in an administrative support role involving collaboration with internal or external teamsWork 38 hours/week, and overtime as requiredMust possess a current PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) licensePreferred Qualifications1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experienceExperience in warehouse operationsAcknowledgement Of CountryIn the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
