We are seeking an experienced and proactive Safety Manager to join our team on the San Remo Bridge project in Victoria.
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager, this is a site-based leadership role responsible for driving a strong safety culture, ensuring compliance, and providing hands‐on support to project delivery teams.This position offers the opportunity to play a key role in shaping project safety outcomes while mentoring and developing site‐based safety personnel.Key Responsibilities:Lead and manage all site safety activities and compliance requirementsDevelop, review and maintain the Site Management Plan (SMP)Facilitate and actively participate in toolbox talks and safety meetingsConduct daily, weekly and monthly site inspections and auditsDrive continuous improvement through safety initiatives and campaignsOversee psychosocial risk assessments, audits and workforce surveysMonitor and report on safety performance, trends and corrective actionsEnsure compliance with company policies, procedures and legislative requirementsManage subcontractor safety onboarding and ongoing compliancePrepare and deliver detailed safety reports for project and business leadershipMentor and support site‐based safety personnel to build capability and performanceThe successful candidate will ideally have:Minimum 5+ years' experience in a HSE Advisor,



Senior HSE Advisor or similar roleCertificate IV in WHS requiredPrevious leadership or management experience highly regardedExperience working on major construction, civil or infrastructure projectsStrong communication and stakeholder engagement skillsA proactive approach to safety leadership and culture developmentProficiency in Myosh, Microsoft Office 365 and SafetyCulture platforms highly regardedAbout UsSRG Global is a diversified industrial services company.
