, As our Banquets Supervisor, you will support the successful delivery of conferences, weddings, social celebrations and corporate events across Pier One Sydney Harbour's unique waterfront venues.Working closely with the Banquets leadership team, you will coordinate event set-up and service, lead pre-shift briefings and ensure each event is delivered in line with the Banquet Event Order and our service standards.
You will remain visible and hands-on throughout each event, supporting the team, responding to guest needs and resolving operational challenges as they arise.Supervise the set-up, service and pack-down of banquet functions and eventsReview Banquet Event Orders and ensure all event requirements are understood and delivered accuratelyLead pre-shift briefings and allocate responsibilities across the teamCoordinate event timing with the kitchen, event planning and operational teamsLead from the floor and support associates during busy service periodsEnsure efficient, friendly and professional service is delivered throughout every eventMonitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback with care, confidence and urgencyAnticipate guest needs and personalise the experience for event organisers, VIPs and returning guestsEnsure function spaces are presented to the highest standard before guests arriveMaintain high standards of cleanliness, organisation,
