Alongside your core accounting responsibilities, you'll have the prospect to contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements and the SAP transformation program.This is a 12-month Fixed Term contract – ideally starting in November.In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:Manage inventory accounting, including reconciliations, journals, schedules and financial reportingSupport month-end, quarter-end and year-end close activitiesAnalyse inventory costs, variances and trends,



identifying risks and opportunitiesPartner with Operations, Supply Chain and Pricing to provide financial insights and support business performanceEnsure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls and financial requirementsSupport audits and respond to inventory-related enquiriesIdentify and implement improvements to processes, controls and reportingContribute to the transition to SAP and broader Finance transformation initiativesTo be successful in this role you will need the following:Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field, with CPA, CA or equivalentExperience in financial accounting, reporting and analysis, ideally in inventory, manufacturing or costingStrong technical accounting knowledge, including controls and complianceStrong analytical skills, with the ability to investigate variances and communicate insights to both Finance and non-Finance stakeholdersExperience with process improvement or transformation, with SQL, SAP, Oracle or Power BI exposure advantageousJob FinanceOrganization Cummins Inc.Role Category On-site with FlexibilityJob Type Exempt - ExperiencedReqID *******Relocation Package No100% On-Site No
