This role will be central to that journey, working closely with the COO, CEO and broader executive team to provide the financial insight and analysis that will help shape strategic priorities and influence key business decisions.This is an opportunity to take ownership of the FP&A; function, operating well beyond traditional reporting.
You will bring greater visibility to business performance, challenge thinking, identify opportunities and provide practical recommendations across growth, investment, resourcing and operational change.
Reporting to the COO and with significant exposure to the CEO, Executive Team and Board, you will take the lead across:Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning, including revenue, cost, cash flow and profitabilityDeveloping financial models, dashboards and management reporting to provide greater visibility of business performanceProviding commercial analysis and recommendations to support pricing, staffing, investment and strategic decisionsPartnering with senior leaders across the business to improve margin, productivity and resource allocationSupporting organic growth and potential M&A; activity, including modelling, due diligence, integration planning and performance trackingPreparing executive and Board reporting, translating financial data into clear insights,



risks and recommended actionsReviewing and improving finance processes, reporting disciplines, controls and governanceCoordinating outsourced accounting and finance providers while retaining ownership of commercial finance capability internallyDriving improvements across finance systems, data integrity and reporting processesYou will also initially lead one direct report while coordinating a broader network of external finance providers.About You:We are looking for an experienced FP&A; or Commercial Finance skilled who enjoys being close to the business and using financial information to influence decisions.
You will ideally bring:Strong FP&A;, commercial finance or management reporting experience within wealth management, financial services, professional services or a comparable environmentDemonstrated experience across budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and executive-level analysisStrong commercial judgement with the ability to turn complex information into practical recommendationsConfidence partnering with executives and senior stakeholdersThe ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance audiencesExperience improving finance processes, controls and reporting frameworksA relevant finance, accounting, commerce, economics or business qualificationCA / CPA qualification would be advantageous, but is not essentialThe Opportunity:What makes this role particularly attractive is the scope to genuinely shape the function rather than inherit a narrowly defined FP&A; remit.
