An established and growing building services consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior /Electrical Engineer, with the opportunity also open to Principal-level Engineers seeking a senior technical role.
This is a great opportunity for an Electrical Engineer who enjoys taking ownership of projects, working directly with clients and playing an influential role within a collaborative engineering team.
The Opportunity
You'll work across a diverse portfolio of building services projects, taking responsibility for electrical design, coordination and delivery from concept through to completion.
Depending on your level of experience, you'll also have the opportunity to provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, manage key client relationships and contribute to the continued growth of the electrical team.
What You'll Be Doing
Deliver electrical building services designs across a variety of projectsDesign LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting and associated electrical systemsPrepare calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentationCoordinate electrical services with mechanical, hydraulic, fire and architectural disciplinesAttend client meetings and provide technical advice throughout the project lifecycleManage project deliverables,



budgets and programmesReview designs and provide technical guidance to junior engineersAt Principal level, take a greater role in client management, project leadership and mentoring
About You
You'll ideally have:
3+ years' experience in Electrical Building Services EngineeringExperience working within an engineering consultancy environmentStrong electrical design and documentation capabilityKnowledge of relevant Australian Standards and the NCCExperience across commercial, residential, education, healthcare or other building projectsStrong communication and client-facing skillsThe ability to manage your own workload and take ownership of project delivery
