architects and main contractorsIdentifying and facilitating new business opportunitiesMaster-plan and feasibility budgetsCost checking of developing designTender evaluations and analysisCash flow projectsProcurementCost reportingEvaluation of variationsValuationsFinal account reportingClaims preparation, presentation, negotiation and settlement of claimsInvestment analysisFormulating and implementing benchmarking processes to improve the consistency, accuracy and time to prepare cost models and plansQualificationsRelevant tertiary qualification in any of the following areas:Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or Construction ManagementExperience in a leadership role, managing a team and client relationshipsExperience working with and supporting operational executivesHighly motivated with a passion for delivering excellence to clientsExcellent communication skills and ability to manage a team and control multiple projects/client commissionsFull Australian working rights and currently located in AustraliaRICS / AIQS accredited candidates will be highly regardedProficient in the use of Cost XAbility to produce both top down and bottom-up cost plansA thorough understanding of the total project life cycle, from conception, through to completion and post-project reviewAt WT, you'll be part of a market-leading QS firm known for quality and innovation.
