You will work alongside Partners, Directors and Managers, overseeing engagements across a diverse and interesting client base including ASX listed companies, while taking on greater responsibility for team supervision and client relationships.What You Will Be DoingLiaising directly with clients on audit and accounting queriesPlanning and overseeing audit engagements from start to finishReviewing audit work papers prepared by junior and intermediate staffDrafting and reviewing annual financial reportsConducting statutory audits with general purpose financial reportingSupervising,



coaching and developing junior audit team membersIdentifying risk areas and providing recommendations to clientsCompleting other assurance engagements as they ariseAssisting Managers and Directors with ad hoc assignmentsWhat We Are Looking ForCA or CPA qualified (or close to completion), with a Commerce or Business degree majoring in AccountingMinimum 4 years' experience as an External Auditor, ideally within a mid tier or top tier firmStrong understanding of Australian Auditing Standards (ASA), Australian Accounting Standards (AASB) and relevant legislationProven ability to manage a client portfolio and meet deadlinesExperience reviewing the work of junior staffExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional client facing skills with a proactive approach to managing expectationsAbove market salary package commensurate with experienceClear pathway to Manager level2 days WFH & flexible hoursPaid parental and fertility leaveDiscounted health insurance and income protection insuranceEmployee Assistance Program for mental health supportActive social club with regular sporting and team eventsModern, city central office with end of trip facilities
