Bookkeeper - Part-Time or Full-Time

An established residential construction business based in Eagle Farm is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join its growing finance team.
This newly created position will work closely with the CFO, taking ownership of day-to-day transactional accounts and bookkeeping activities.
It is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for a stable, long-term role with flexible hours and a consistent workload.
The position can be structured from a minimum of 30 hours per week through to full-time, depending on the successful candidate's preference.
This is an office-based role working five days per week, with flexibility around daily start and finish times.
Key Responsibilities
Processing supplier and subcontractor invoicesMatching invoices against purchase orders and job costsPreparing payment runs and resolving supplier queriesCompleting bank, supplier and account reconciliationsMaintaining supplier and subcontractor recordsFollowing up missing invoices and statementsAssisting with month-end processes and general ledger maintenanceSupporting the CFO with BAS workpapers, reporting and system updatesReconciling purchase orders within DatabuildProviding occasional data entry and administration support to the estimating team




Skills and Experience
Minimum three years' bookkeeping experience within an Australian businessStrong accounts payable and reconciliation skillsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailConfident using accounting software and ExcelAble to work independently and manage a consistent workloadProfessional and discreet when handling confidential financial informationResidential construction, building or trades experience is highly regardedExperience with job costing and subcontractor payments would be advantageousDatabuild experience is desirable but not essential
Experience with Onsite Companion, EzyScan or Therefore would also be beneficial; however, training can be provided.
