Warrikal is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team in West Perth.
This is a hands‐on procurement role supporting purchasing, supplier management, tenders and RFQs across our business.Working closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers, you'll play an important role in ensuring we secure the right products and services, at the right value, while maintaining strong supplier relationships and procurement processes.About The RoleAssist with tenders, RFQs and market price requests, including tender estimationsSource, negotiate and manage local and international suppliers to achieve best value, quality and performanceManage high-volume purchasing and expedite orders to ensure supplier delivery timeframes are metMaintain vendor compliance, onboarding and supplier documentationBuild and maintain robust supplier relationships, leveraging established industry networksLiaise with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement processes and requirements are followedResolve supplier delivery, quality or technical issues, and support continuous improvement across procurement processesAbout YouWe're looking for someone proactive, commercially minded, and confident dealing with both local and international suppliers.
Fluency in Mandarin is essential for this role, as you'll be liaising directly with Mandarin‐speaking suppliers.
You'll be comfortable managing competing priorities, chasing quotes,



expediting orders and negotiating to achieve the best outcome.2-3 years' experience in procurement, purchasing or supply chain.Fluent in MandarinUnderstanding of international supply chain functions, including sourcing and coordinating overseas suppliersExperience expediting orders and managing supplier delivery timeframesStrong understanding of RFQs, tenders, vendor compliance and procurement processesExperience within a mechanical or industrial environment, sourcing hand tools, consumables and operational requirementsEstablished industry network, strong financial acumen and a sound commercial mindsetExcellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skillsA proactive, confident approach, with the ability to manage high-volume workloads and tight deadlinesWhy Warrikal?
