This position is suited to a passionate and experienced chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced kitchen environment and has strong skills in Indian and Nepalese cuisine.
Position: Full-Time Chef
Location: Kadina, South Australia ****
Employment Type: Full-time (38 hours per week)
Salary: AUD $80,000 per year plus superannuation
Key Responsibilities
Plan and develop menus in consultation with management.
Prepare and cook a wide range ofIndian and Nepalese dishes, including regional curries.
Prepare and cookTandoori dishes and Indian appetisers.
Ensure food is prepared and presented to a high standard.
Prepare meals for customers with special dietary requirements.
Manage kitchen preparation lists and coordinate kitchen operations.
Monitor food costs and assist with stock control and ordering.




Receive, store, and rotate food supplies according to food safety standards.
Train and supervise kitchen staff when required.
Maintain kitchen cleanliness andensure compliance with food safety and workplace health & safety standards.
Skills and Experience Required
RelevantCertificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification.
At least2 years of experienceas a chef in a commercial kitchen.
Experience preparingIndian and Nepalese cuisine, including curries and tandoori dishes.
Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and maintain high standards.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Availability to work onweekends, evenings, and public holidays on a rotating roster.
