Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Workshop Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our fleet maintenance workshop in Smithfield.
Reporting to the Head of Fleet and maintenance, you will lead a team of Heavy Diesel Mechanics, coordinate maintenance activities and help ensure our fleet remains safe, compliant.
What you will enjoy doing
Superviseand coordinate daily workshop operations, repairs, servicing, andpreventative maintenance activities
Lead,coach, and support workshop personnel to achieve safety, quality, andperformance objectives
Monitorfleet availability, maintenance schedules, and breakdown response tominimise operational downtime
Managerelationshipswith suppliers, contractors, OEMs, and warranty providers
Ensureaccurate maintenance records, compliance documentation, and system updatesare maintained
You will drivecontinuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshopefficiency,reliability,and cost control.

Tradequalification as a Heavy Vehicle or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
Strongexperience in fleet, heavy vehicle, or diesel maintenance environments
Provenleadership and team supervision skills suits your profile
Soundknowledge of safety, compliance, and maintenance documentation requirements
You have excellentplanning, problem-solving, and stakeholder management abilities
Strongcomputer literacy and experience using maintenance management systems

We offer an hourly rate $40-$55 per hour plus allowances based on vehicle type.
