HEAD CHEF – BAR LUNE, BEULAH PARK

We're looking for a Head Chef to lead the kitchen at Bar Lune.

Bar Lune is our neighbourhood dining spot in Beulah Park, serving Euro/Mediterranean small plates and shared mains. It's known locally for great wine and excellent service, with a loyal following and an established kitchen team.

We need the right person to take it into its next chapter.

The Role

You'll sit at the centre of the kitchen and be responsible for:
Leading and developing the kitchen team
Recruitment, staffing and rostering
Menu development and seasonal direction
Food cost, labour and overall kitchen performance
Consistency and standards, every service
Working closely with the Venue Manager and EMBR leadership
Building systems that keep the kitchen running well long term

You'll have real creative input and the autonomy to run your kitchen, with support from our General Manager and Executive Chef and the wider EMBR team.

We want someone who can balance creativity with commercial reality. Great food matters, and so does knowing your labour %,



looking after your suppliers, engineering a menu and understanding what keeps a venue going for years.

What We're Looking For
Experience as a Head Chef in a comparable venue
Robust leadership and communication
A calm, qualified presence in the kitchen
Creativity backed by structure and organisation
A solid handle on rostering, staffing and food cost
Someone who enjoys mentoring and building a team

Most of all, someone who cares about hospitality, culture and sticking around.
