About Our Client
Our client is a retail juggernaut.
Job Description
Analyse sales, revenue, margin and P&L; performance across customers, products, branches and business units to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
Drive customer profitability, product mix and brand performance analysis, providing recommendations to improve margin and revenue outcomes.
Monitor and report on key commercial and operational KPIs, ensuring performance aligns with business targets.
Partner with regional managers to deliver performance reviews, actionable insights and decision support.
Lead the development and enhancement of dashboards, reporting packs and business intelligence tools to improve business visibility.
Evaluate pricing, rebates, promotions and revenue assurance activities to optimise profitability and revenue quality.
Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and scenario analysis to guide strategic and operational decision-making.
Act as a trusted business partner across Sales, Operations, Supply Chain and Finance, driving reporting improvements, automation and commercial performance initiatives.




The Successful Applicant
Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance, or a related field.
CA/CPA qualification
Excellent scenario modelling capability, coupled with an ability to story tell behind the numbers
Proven experience partnering with non finance stakeholders
Strong experience with BI highly desirable
A willingness to 'roll up the sleeves' and deal with sometimes ambiguous, messy data
Proficiency in financial analysis and modelling tools.
Experience in the retail or FMCG sector is a bonus
Genuinely compelling ability to communicate and influence decision making at a C-suite level
Leadership experience a bonus
What's on Offer
Market-competitive salary ranging from $140,000 to $160,000.
Flexible working arrangements with a 3/2 split.
