Civil Supervisors – Mining & Road Construction

Cooper McCullough Group (CMG) is seeking experienced Civil Supervisors to join our growing team across projects throughout Central Queensland.
We are looking to hear from supervisors with strong experience in either mining civil works or TMR/Council road construction and stabilisation.
Opportunities are available across our current and upcoming projects.
About the Roles
As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading crews and coordinating day-to-day site activities to ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
Mine site civil and earthworks projects
TMR and Council road construction and upgrades
Road rehabilitation and stabilisation works
Bulk and detailed earthworks
Pavement construction and preparation
Drainage and associated civil works
Plant and equipment coordination
Rehabilitation and maintenance works
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate civil crews, subcontractors and plant
Plan daily works and allocate labour, plant and resources
Ensure works are completed safely and in accordance with project requirements
Coordinate with Project Managers, Engineers, clients and site representatives
Monitor productivity, quality and project progress
Conduct pre-starts, toolbox meetings and daily planning
Maintain high standards of safety, environmental compliance and workmanship
Assist with programming and achieving project milestones
About You




We are looking for experienced, practical supervisors who can confidently lead crews and get results on the ground.
Mining civil construction and earthworks
TMR road construction
Local Government/Council road projects
Road stabilisation
Bulk earthworks
Drainage and associated infrastructure
Supervising operators and multi-skilled civil crews
Previous experience supervising TMR, Council or mine site projects will be highly regarded.
You will also need strong leadership and communication skills, a solid understanding of civil construction methodologies and a commitment to maintaining a secure and productive work environment.
