The role leads initiatives to strengthen local manufacturing, manages local content obligations under the Local Jobs First Act 2003, and identifies prospects to increase local supply chain capability.
Key responsibilities
The role works closely with rolling stock project teams, manufacturers, industry representatives and government agencies to improve processes and ensure local content requirements are met.
A current Victorian driver’s licence with no restrictions that would prevent you from performing the requirements of the role.
Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa necessary for the nature of the position.
What you need
Qualifications and experience.
Tertiary qualifications would be well regarded.
