Undertake all aspects of the Carpentry trade, including but not limited to; reactive and planned maintenance and construction activities on our client's buildings and open space assets; and assist in reducing operational costs, and mitigating risks associated to ineffective and/or faulty assets.
Key responsibilities
Undertake all aspects of Carpentry regarding maintenance and construction of Modus' client's assets
Undertake all activities to high standard of workmanship
Assist in servicing assets in accordance with relevant standards to protect our client's assets and the community from potential hazards
Utilise external resources as required to ensure services are delivered in a timely manner
Engage all relevant utilities and service providers for the purpose of; inspections and approvals and identification of faults etc
Use initiative to solve problems that arise on site in order to complete tasks as efficiently as possibleProvide efficient and effective customer service
Assess the adequacy of information contained in requests
Complete works with minimum disruption to occupants
Undertake works to agreed service standards
About you
Trade Certificate in Carpentry or equivalent (preferred)
Current Driver's Licence (mandatory)
Construction Induction Card (White Card)
First Aid Certificate (preferred)
Working at Heights Ticket (preferred)
Elevated Work Platform (Under 11m) (preferred)
Robust, effective communication skills (written and verbal)




Exceptional organisational and time management skills
Demonstrated ability to adhere to administration systems
Demonstrated ability to follow direction and instruction
Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
Minimum 1-3 years' experience in general trade carpentry work on small and large scale commercial and retail facilities
Ability to work in high level security premises such as banks, petroleum stations, government departments etc
