A growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced
Senior Structural Engineer
to join its Sydney team.
You'll work on
complex building projects, including high-rise and multi-building developments
, taking projects from concept through to delivery. You'll combine hands-on technical design with client interaction, project coordination and mentoring.
The role
Lead structural design across complex building projects.
Undertake modelling, analysis, calculations and documentation.
Design in steel and concrete.
Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants.
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
Attend project meetings and site inspections.
Review designs and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
Contribute to client relationships and business development.
About you
7+ years' structural engineering experience,



including 3+ years in Australia.
Consultancy experience preferred.
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Strong steel and concrete design experience.
Experience across residential, commercial, retail and/or industrial projects.
Strong knowledge of Australian Standards.
Proficiency with software such as ETABS, RAM Concept, SPACEGASS, STAND or PLAXIS.
Robust communication, problem-solving and stakeholder skills.
Proactive, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership.
