You'll work across machine safety, industrial automation and control systems while collaborating with colleagues and helping shape how Pilz supports its customers for the long term.
What you'll do
Application Support:
Work with customers and colleagues to design, configure and implement machine safety and industrial automation solutions using Pilz products and systems.
Technical Guidance:
Provide specialist advice on machine safety, industrial automation and control systems, helping customers apply products effectively and safely.
Technical Support:
Provide high-quality technical support for customer applications, troubleshooting product-related enquiries and seeing issues through to resolution.
Sales Support:
Support the Sales team with technical expertise,



application solutions, product selection, quotations and proposals.
Training & Knowledge Sharing:
Deliver technical training and share knowledge with colleagues, customers and partners to build capability and confidence.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement:
Create and maintain technical documentation, support resources and knowledge-base content, while identifying opportunities to improve customer outcomes and support processes.
Reporting & Insights:
Analyse support activity, identify trends and provide reporting and recommendations to management.
Warranty & Product Feedback:
Assess and test returned products, coordinate warranty-related technical investigations and contribute feedback to support ongoing product and system improvements.
Industry Engagement:
Represent Pilz at industry events, exhibitions and customer forums.
What you bring
A degree, or equivalent in engineering, mechatronics, electrical engineering or industrial automation
Minimum 5 years' experience in technical support, application engineering or industrial control systems, with direct customer-facing work




Proven experience troubleshooting technical issues and delivering effective solutions to customers and colleagues
Strong analytical and root-cause problem-solving skills
CPEng certification or eligibility is advantageous
Comfortable communicating from plant floor to executive level
Experience with CRM systems and business reporting tools
A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
