We are working on behalf of our client, who is a successful, well-known and reputable nationwide business that covers industrial, construction, and environmental services and is seeking a
Project Engineer
.
The ideal candidate will come with strong references and possess an impeccable Safety record.

10 hours a day with penalties for the overtime you work

What you need:
Australia's full working rights
Current Driver's Licence
White card
Engineering qualifications in Civil or Structural Engineering
Minimum 5 years of project engineer experience
Competency in Project Management software (e.g., Microsoft Professional Suite, MS Project, Primavera)
Experience in Contracts administration and management
Experience in managing construction scheduling and cost/cash flow management
Knowledge of safety design in construction, maintenance, and operation.
Pre-employment Medical Check
Willing to undergo a National Police check
Responsibilities:




Assist with preparing project estimates and related documentation
Track project performance and regularly evaluate efficiency and quality
Help develop, implement, and manage subcontractor and supplier agreements
Maintain a balance between cost-effectiveness and productivity to achieve project goals within deadlines
Interpret daily work schedules and coordinate staff and contractor activities accordingly
Oversee compliance with safe work procedures and perform risk assessments
Prepare and communicate quality-related documents, promote best practices, and uphold standards and expectations
Contribute to early issue identification and resolution, with the flexibility to adapt to evolving project needs
Support on-time project completion within budget by monitoring and managing expenditures
Ensure both client and internal quality standards are consistently met
Oversee procurement processes and manage the purchasing of required goods and services
