The Restaurant & Events Manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of The Hall, overseeing Pan-Asian restaurant service, events, team performance and venue standards. This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys being on the floor, knows what good hospitality looks like and can confidently move between running a busy restaurant service, managing an event and thinking about how to grow the venue. You'll work closely with the Operations, Sales and Marketing teams to grow restaurant and events trade, improve the guest experience and make the most of what The Hall has to offer.
Key responsibilities
Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of The Hall, ensuring consistently high standards across Pan-Asian food, beverage and service
Lead restaurant services and ensure the team is organised, supported and set up for success
Work closely with the kitchen team to ensure food and service run seamlessly together
Maintain a robust understanding of the menu, food offering and guest experience
Monitor service standards and guest feedback, addressing issues quickly and professionally
Manage staffing levels, rosters and labour in line with trade and budgets




Keep the venue looking sharp, well presented and ready for service
Take ownership of the operational delivery of events at The Hall, from initial planning through to bump-out
Work closely with the Sales team and event clients to understand requirements and ensure expectations are met
Coordinate staffing, suppliers, floor plans, run sheets and other event logistics
About you
3–5+ years' experience in restaurant, venue or events management
Strong experience running busy restaurant services and events
A genuine interest in Pan-Asian food and contemporary restaurant culture
The confidence to lead a team and make decisions on the floor
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build robust relationships with staff, suppliers and clients
A calm, practical approach when things get busy or don't go to plan
Strong organisational skills and an eye for detail
Commercial awareness and an understanding of labour, COGS and venue performance
A genuine interest in creating great food, drinks and guest experiences
