The Role

Do you have the energy, organisation and people skills to keep a cleaning team motivated and a retail site looking its best?
We're looking for an enthusiastic Cleaning Supervisor to join our team at our Fairfield Gardens site.
You'll play a key role in leading the onsite cleaning team, maintaining exceptional presentation standards and ensuring daily operations run smoothly.
Roster: Monday to Friday, 6:30am – 2:36pm
This position is paid in accordance with the Cleaning Services Award ****.
What You'll Be Doing
Lead, motivate and support a team of cleaning team members to deliver outstanding results




Coordinate daily cleaning activities and ensure tasks are completed to the required standard
Conduct regular inspections and maintain high cleaning and presentation standards across the site
Provide on‐the‐job guidance, coaching and training to team members
Monitor attendance, performance and adherence to site procedures
Ensure chemicals, equipment and machinery are used safely and correctly
Assist with stock control and ensure cleaning supplies are available when required
Respond professionally to client and customer requests and help resolve issues
Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work is completed in accordance with WHS requirements
Work closely with the Site Manager and Assetlink management team to deliver excellent service
What We're Looking For
Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory or team leader role, preferably within a commercial, retail or shopping centre environment
Solid leadership and people‐management skills
Excellent communication and organisational skills
A proactive, hands‐on approach and the ability to lead by example
Good knowledge of commercial cleaning practices, chemicals and equipment
Experience using cleaning machinery such as scrubbers, buffers or sweepers is highly regarded




Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high standards
A commitment to workplace health and safety
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English
Must have valid work rights in Australia
