About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of field-based and office-based work while contributing to environmental protection and sustainable outcomes for our community.
What You'll deliver
Undertake environmental monitoring and field investigations at closed landfill and contaminated land sites.
Conduct landfill gas monitoring, leachate gauging, pump maintenance and site inspections.
Assist with environmental assessments relating to land, waterways, soil health and contamination.
Collect, analyse and maintain accurate environmental data and records.
Support the preparation of technical reports, specifications and documentation for regulators and environmental auditors.
Contribute to the implementation of landfill aftercare management programs and environmental projects.
What You'll Bring
Qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Management, Sustainable Development, a trade qualification, another relevant science discipline,



or significant relevant industry experience.
Experience undertaking field-based environmental, infrastructure or technical operations work.
Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately record and manage data.
Sound report writing and administrative skills.
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
Current Victorian Driver's Licence.
Ability to work safely in outdoor environments and undertake physical field work.
Willingness to undergo pre-employment background checks including National Criminal History Check, Working with Children Check, Eligibility to Work check and Functional Assessment (Medical/physio)
