Job Description
Corrimal Healthcare Centre is a busy, established general practice in Corrimal, NSW, currently operating with four full-time GPs and a GP registrar. The successful applicant will work alongside experienced GPs and receive clinical support and supervision, with access to practice nursing, reception and allied health services. VR and Non-VR General Practitioners are encouraged to apply. Doctors requiring Level 1 supervision will be supported.

Key responsibilities

Provide comprehensive general practice consultations for acute and chronic medical conditions.
n
Assess, diagnose and manage patients and develop appropriate treatment plans.
n
Provide chronic disease management, preventive healthcare and health promotion.
n
Undertake appropriate referrals, investigations and follow-up care.
n
Provide emergency assessment and initial management where required.
n
Maintain accurate and timely clinical records.
n
Work collaboratively with other GPs,



practice nurses and allied health professionals.
n
Participate in clinical case reviews, quality improvement activities and continuing professional development.
n
Undertake home visits where clinically appropriate.
n

About you
n
n
Medical degree recognised in Australia.
n
Current AHPRA registration or eligibility for registration.
n
Sound clinical assessment, diagnostic and management skills.
n
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
n
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
n
Commitment to patient-centred care, skilled standards and continuing education.
