Due to expansion and growth within our clients business, we are seeking aProduction Engineer to join a market leader inits field.
This multi national company is looking for a degree qualified Manufacturing Engineer to support improvements in cost effectiveness, quality and safety through implementation of new technology and processes in their manufacturing operations.
Key objectives and responsibilities include:
Uses Lean manufacturing principles to develop, evaluate and improve manufacturing methods.
Use knowledge of product design, materials and parts, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, and quality control standards.
Provide technical support to other internal functions like Supply Chain and Sales
Work with the Manufacturing Technology Engineers to analyse cost benefits and evaluate business cases
Reviewing and checking Engineering documentation like BOMs, drawings
Applies statistical methods to understand historical production and quality trends.
Experience:
Engineering degree (master, bachelor, FH/ETH or equivalent)



in mechanical engineering, production/ manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering or other relevant STEM degree.
Minimum of 1-2 years experience in the field of industrial engineering and or process planning in the production environment
2D and 3D drawing creation using CREO would be preferred
