About the Opportunity
This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for a reliable, mechanically minded person to train as a skilled Field Technician with an creative, family-owned business specialising in a unique, high-end automatic leisure product.
Working alongside experienced Technicians, you will be supported receiving hands‐on training in the installation, servicing, preventative maintenance and repair of specialised automatic pool‐cover systems.
As your skills and confidence develop, you will progress towards independently managing installations and service work, with increased responsibility and earning potential.
What You Will Be Doing
Installing and servicing residential and commercial pool-cover systems
Measuring, drilling, cutting, fixing and aligning components
Installing rollers, tracks, guides and associated equipment
Assisting with diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical and control system faults




Lifting and positioning heavy or bulky equipment, including overhead
Communicating professionally with homeowners, builders and trades
Completing electronic service reports and job photographs
Maintaining clean worksites, tools and vehicles
About You; You Will Be:
Trustworthy, reliable, punctual and safety-conscious
Friendly and professional with excellent communication skills
Accurate with measurements and confident working with numbers
Able to follow instructions, use initiative and solve practical problems
Proud of your work and eager to build a long‐term technical career
Someone with an excellent attitude, strong work ethic and good sense of humour
Previous experience in construction, maintenance, landscaping, irrigation, plumbing, automotive, mechanical or installation work
would be highly regarded.
White Card
Confident swimming ability
Experience using hand and power tools
Physically fit and able to safely lift and position heavy or bulky equipment
Willingness to travel throughout Victoria and occasionally interstate
What's on Offer?
$68K–$70K + super + Work vehicle, fuel card for business use
Monday to Friday, 7.00 am – 3.00 pm
