About Big Boss Concreting
n
Big Boss Concreting Pty Ltd is a busy and growing concreting company servicing residential and commercial projects across Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and the Gold Coast.
n
We are looking for an experienced Combo / Excavator Operator to join our team and work alongside our concreting crews, helping keep projects running efficiently and on schedule.
n
We operate a 6-tonne Kobelco Excavator and a standard-size Posi Track, along with a range of attachments.
n
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work, knows their machinery and is happy to jump in and assist the crew when required.
n
About the Role
n
Working as part of our concreting crews, your responsibilities will include:
n
n
Operating our 6T Kobelco Excavator and Posi Track
n
Operating a range of excavator and skid steer attachments
n
Preparing sites and assisting concreting crews with earthworks and site preparation
n
Loading and unloading machinery from trucks and beaver tail trailer
n
General machine maintenance, pre-start checks and keeping equipment in good working order
n
Working safely around other trades, concreting crews and members of the public
n
Assisting with general site duties when required
n
Moving between projects across Brisbane, Ipswich, Logan and the Gold Coast
n
Working efficiently to keep projects on schedule
n




Following all company safety procedures and site requirements
n

Working Hours
n
n
Consistent work hours, typically between 5:30am and 4:30pm - Combo is housed in a yard in Marsden.

About You
n
We are looking for someone who has:
n
n
Minimum 4 years' experience operating machinery
n
Proven experience operating Posi Tracks and Excavators (5T+)
n
Experience using a variety of machinery attachments
n
Ability to safely load and unload machinery from trucks and trailers
n
A current Construction Induction White Card
n
A valid MR Driver's Licence
n
Strong communication and teamwork skills
n
A proactive approach to safety and risk management
n
The ability to work independently and use initiative
n
A willingness to assist the concreting crew and with other tasks as required
n
Good physical fitness and the ability to work in a construction setting
n
A reliable and positive attitude
n
The legal right to work in Australia indefinitely
n
