Our client, the Federal Government authority responsible for managing the Murray-Darling Basin as a connected river system and supporting sustainable water outcomes, require the services of a
Principal Enterprise Architect.
Duties of the Principal Enterprise Architect
Ensure alignment between business strategy & ICT investments;
Oversee design governance through Architecture Review Board & Design Authority;
Provide guidance on secure, scalable, & standards-aligned solutions;
Support multi-cloud & hybrid infrastructure strategy & integration;
Collaborate with stakeholders to drive innovation & sustainable technology outcomes.
Skills and Experience Required
Demonstrate ability to deliver secure, standards-aligned architecture outcomes;
Strong understanding of governance frameworks & architecture review processes;
Experience working in complex or government environments;
Ability to reduce risk, duplication, & technical debt across ICT systems;




Demonstrated stakeholder engagement & influencing skills;
Extensive experience in enterprise architecture within complex ICT environments;
Robust knowledge of architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF or similar);
Experience in government or regulated environments preferred;
Proven ability to influence strategic technology decisions;
Demonstrated experience in governance, risk management, & compliance alignment.
