A growing multidisciplinary engineering consultancy is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to join its Sydney team.
n
You'll work on complex building projects, including high-rise and multi-building developments, taking projects from concept through to delivery. You'll combine hands-on technical design with client interaction, project coordination and mentoring.

The role
n
n
Lead structural design across complex building projects.
n
Undertake modelling, analysis, calculations and documentation.
n
Design in steel and concrete.
n
Work closely with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants.
n
Provide technical guidance and mentor junior engineers.
n
Attend project meetings and site inspections.
n
Review designs and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.
n
Contribute to client relationships and business development.
n
n
About you
n
n
7+ years' structural engineering experience,



including 3+ years in Australia.
n
Consultancy experience preferred.
n
Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
n
Strong steel and concrete design experience.
n
Experience across residential, commercial, retail and/or industrial projects.
n
Solid knowledge of Australian Standards.
n
Proficiency with software such as ETABS, RAM Concept, SPACEGASS, STAND or PLAXIS.
n
Strong communication, problem-solving and stakeholder skills.
n
Proactive, commercially aware and comfortable taking ownership.
n
