You will be based in our Brisbane/ Gold Coast projects.

About the role

Reporting to the Site Supervisor, this role is responsible for:
Unloading scaffolding from vehicles
Signing off scaffolding as required
Creating a secure base on the ground
Erecting scaffolding poles and attaching horizontal tubes to them
Fixing scaffolding to a building
Laying planks across scaffolding for workers to walk on to complete work
Fix guard rails and safety nets
Take down scaffolding after job completion
Other ad hoc duties are requested by the Site supervisor
Take a proactive approach to Health and Safety and promote Silverstrand Developments Zero Harm Culture

Essential Skills and Experience
A minimum of 5 years' civil construction experience as a scaffolder
Advanced scaffolding ticket
Construction Induction card (White Card)
RIW Card - SARC + WET




Current Driver’s licence
Fit and able to pass a pre-employment medical
An eye for detail and a commitment to quality
A strong commitment to working safely and productively
