We are partnering with a leading enterprise organisation seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to support the delivery of critical cloud infrastructure initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on AWS specialist with strong cloud governance and Landing Zone experience to join a high-performing technology team.

Key Responsibilities
n
n
Design, build and support AWS cloud environments in line with enterprise standards and best practices.
n
Implement and manage AWS Landing Zones to enable secure and scalable cloud adoption.
n
Configure and maintain core AWS services including networking, security, IAM, monitoring and automation.
n
Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
n
Collaborate with architects, engineers and project teams to deliver cloud transformation initiatives.
n
Ensure cloud environments meet security, compliance and operational requirements.
n
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues.
n

Essential Skills & Experience
n
n




Proven experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer within enterprise environments.
n
Strong hands-on experience implementing and managing AWS Landing Zones.
n
Excellent knowledge of AWS networking, security, governance and identity management.
n
Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
n
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation.
n
Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and operational support.
n
Excellent stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills.
n

Desirable
n
n
AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer or similar).
n
Experience working within large-scale transformation or cloud migration programs.
n
Exposure to multi-account AWS environments and governance frameworks.
n
n
