Insurance Administrator - Contract - $35 per hour + Super
Monday to Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm
Are you an experienced
insurance administrator
with exposure to
group insurance inside superannuation
? This is a great opportunity to join a busy, supportive team where you'll manage policy and claims processes end-to-end, liaise with key stakeholders (insurers, trustees and internal teams), and contribute to continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
Process insurance
applications, alterations and cancellations
across
Death, TPD and Income Protection
cover.
Coordinate underwriting requirements, including
medical evidence
requests and follow-ups with insurers.
Manage
end-to-end claims processing
, including assessment support, documentation collation, and payment coordination.
Liaise with
insurers, trustees and external stakeholders
to resolve complex cases efficiently and professionally.
Calculate and reconcile
insurance premiums




within member accounts.
Maintain accurate insurance records across administration systems.
Ensure work is completed in line with
superannuation legislation
, trust deeds and policy terms.
Identify process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Skills & experience
Experience in
superannuation, insurance, or financial services administration
.
Understanding of
group insurance within super
(highly regarded).
High attention to detail and proven ability to manage
sensitive/confidential information
.
Robust stakeholder management and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple cases and prioritise competing deadlines.
Familiarity with administration platforms (e.g.
Acurity, SuperB
, or similar).
