Contract Details: Full-time; Salary $75,000 to $80,000 per annum plus super.

Cock & Bull Cairns is seeking a talented and experienced Chef to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and high-quality dishes that will delight our customers and keep them coming back for more.

Key Responsibilities: /n

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including appetizers, entrees, and desserts, according to restaurant recipes and standards.

/n
Ensure that all dishes are prepared and presented in a timely and efficient manner.

/n
Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed.

/n
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.

/n
Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and specials.

/n
Train and mentor junior kitchen staff.

/n
Adhere to all company policies and procedures,



including health and safety regulations.

/n
Maintain a positive and professional attitude at all times.

/n

Requirements: /n

/n
Minimum of 12 months of experience as a Chef in a quick-paced restaurant setting.

/n
Certificate IV/Diploma in Cookery is preferable.

/n
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.

/n
Ability to work well under pressure and in a team environment.

/n
Excellent time management and organizational skills.

/n
Attention to detail and a passion for creating high-quality dishes.

/n
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.

/n
Availability to work weekends and evenings as required.

/n
