casual Traffic Controllers
to join our team.
We are based in
Pakenham
, with work expected across Melbourne's south-east and surrounding areas. These are casual positions, with shifts offered according to project requirements and employee availability.
Applicants must be flexible, as work may be offered at short notice and shift locations and hours may vary. This role may not suit applicants seeking weekend-only or night-shift-only work.
To be considered, applicants must have:
A valid WorkSafe-issued Construction Induction Card (White Card)
A reliable vehicle to travel to different worksites
Full traffic-management PPE
A reliable mobile phone and email access
The physical ability to undertake traffic-control duties safely
Applicants must hold current and valid traffic-control qualifications.
Qualifications issued before 1 March ****
The following qualifications may be accepted, provided they remain within the applicable three-year validity period:
RIIWHS205E – Control Traffic with Stop-Slow Bat
RIIWHS302E – Implement Traffic Management Plans
Qualifications issued from 1 March ****
Applicants must hold the relevant Category 1 or Category 2 skill sets:
Category 1
Traffic Controller 1 (TC1) – RIISS*****
Traffic Management Implementer 1 (TMI1) – RIISS*****
Category 2
Traffic Controller 2 (TC2) – RIISS*****
Traffic Management Implementer 2 (TMI2) – RIISS*****
Applicants holding both Traffic Controller and Traffic Management Implementer qualifications will be highly regarded.

Previous traffic-control experience is preferred; however, newly qualified applicants with the right attitude, reliability and availability are encouraged to apply.

Shifts offered according to operational requirements
Day, afternoon, night and weekend work may be available
Pay rates, casual loading, penalties, allowances and superannuation will be applied in accordance with the applicable industrial requirements
