National Chicks, a leading international supplier of poultry within the Astral Group, is seeking a Site Foreman who will be responsible for maintaining and continuously improving quality, hygiene, biosecurity and operational standards within our Broiler Farms.

Role Responsibilities

n

The ideal candidate would be responsible for:

n

n
The planning, organising, leading and control of all aspects and duties assigned to you in order to achieve production standards.
n
Managing all labour related issues to ensure that all staff members are contributing to the objectives of the company.
n
The maintaining of product quality, hygiene and biosecurity standards.
n
Managing all resources to the maximum benefit of the company.
n
Implementing and managing the 20 Keys principles, risk and safety.
n

Required Qualification And Knowledge

n

n
Minimum of a grade 12 education.
n




Minimum of 5 years broiler experience.
n
Passionate, self-motivated and performance driven.
n
A team player with the strong people skills and the ability to manage staff.
n
Must have valuable administrative skills and ability to control documents.
n
Must be pro-active and be able to work accurately and independently.
n
Working hours are irregular and include weekend duties.
n
