Programmed Apprenticeships & Traineeships, in partnership with DLS Group Civils, is seeking a motivated individual to join the team as a Civil Construction Trainee based in Rowville, Victoria.
This 36-month traineeship is an excellent prospect to build a career in the civil construction industry while gaining hands‐on experience on real projects. You'll learn from experienced workers on the job while completing a nationally recognised Certificate III in Civil Construction.
No extensive industry experience is required - we're looking for someone who is reliable, enjoys practical work and is ready to learn and develop their skills.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Civil Construction Trainee, you'll develop skills across a range of activities, including:
Assisting with civil construction and infrastructure works
Using hand and power tools safely and effectively
Learning to operate and work around civil construction equipment
Carrying out measurements and basic construction calculations
Reading and interpreting plans, drawings and specifications
Preparing and maintaining work areas and sites
Following workplace health and safety procedures




Working alongside experienced civil construction crews

What We're Looking For
To be considered, you'll need:
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
A genuine interest in building a career in civil construction
Commitment to completing a Certificate III in Civil Construction
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Willingness to learn and take direction
Comfortable undertaking physical work and working outdoors
A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
Previous construction or labouring experience is beneficial but
not essential
. A positive attitude and willingness to learn are what matter most.
